9 Deuce
Let’s talk about a movie that I was really hyped for, and felt destined to love. Spoiler alert, I didn’t love it. I saw this heavily advertised for me on NetFlix. I read some reviews. When people mention The Thing or Hellraiser, you have my attention. This felt like an open love letter to those […]
Kristi bought this for me and told me to watch it. Who am I to argue with a lady sending me free movies, right? Looking at the cast, I also ways avoided it because of Angelina Jolie. I know I know. Yes, I am a heterosexual male. I just wasn’t crazy about her. She looked […]
I’m not sorry for what is about to be said. These are just my opinions. If you haven’t seen the first one, I’d say that you should stop reading and watch it, unless you don’t mind spoilers. I think that is a fair enough warning. Let’s get down to business. Why the fuck was this […]
I think this may be the third time that I have seen this film. I remember the second time that I watched it, I didn’t realize I had seen it until I was over halfway into. That is a problem that I plan on discussing. First, let’s get the plot out of the way. You […]
Well, this is the follow up to Tales from the Crypt. Apparently, looking at IMDB, there are quite a few films like these all made around the same time. So I am naturally going to attempt to find them and watch them. I love these anthology style films. If you want to know the stories […]
I have never seen the 2 original Tales From the Crypt films susrprisingly, despite having seen the TV show so many times, like every episode over 10 times. I loved the show. Needless to say, i am excited to see what 1972 PG horror can provide for me. I tend to give these more room […]
Another British horror anthology. Yes, Peter Cushing is involved, as is the great Christopher Lee. Denholm Elliot is also a familiar face to me now thanks to one of the other Anibus anthologies as they are referred to. As always, I will do my typical write up under the guise of spoilers and then you […]
Another anthology film, this time from back in 1967. I see that Jack Palance and Burgess Meredith are in this, so it has my attention. I love Burgess. Peter Cushing also is in this. That guy just loved anthology horror apparently. My goodness. We get 4 short stories in this one so each will be […]
I did a terrible blog about this film in 2013. Let’s just say that I was very new at blogging. I may not be good now, but I am experienced. Let’s break down this wonderful film. The idea is that they live in a world where Freddy, Jason, and Michael exist. You need to comprehend […]
Last year I did a review for the film, Asylum, and I had a great time with it. This year, I am trying to get the entire series of those older British anthology films. I think most, if not all of them have Peter Cushing, so that’s always a treat for me. I am going […]
