9 Deuce
Seriously, this is my 4th time trying to write about this film. I get tired, distracted, pissed off, various things, so I never finish it. This one is for you Kristi. The cast is pretty solid. You have Dee Snider as Captain Howdy, Kevin Gage who was in Heat, Blow, and May, and the incomparable […]
I don’t know if I have ever seen this, but it’s short and that is a plus right now. I need to wrap up so many loose ends by midnight. So here we go with The Gate, starring Stephen Dorff. The synopsis sounds silly as fuck but got a 5.9 on IMDB, which is solid […]
Here we are with Rob Zombie’s sequel to his remake. I’ve only seen this film once, and somebody was on their phone during a good chunk of the film, so it disrupted my viewing. As you can imagine, the cast is amazing in this. Sheri Moon Zombie, Scout Taylor Compton, Brad Dourif, Malcolm McDowell, Tyler […]
I knew I had to do something important this year, and a film doesn’t get much closer to me than this gem. You CANNOT call yourself a horror fan if you have not seen this. It’s impossible. Don’t fucking argue with me, I will win. I know one person out there is waiting to watch […]
Here’s IMDB’s description/summary: “When a videographer answers a Craigslist ad for a one-day job in a remote mountain town, he finds his client is not at all what he initially seems.” Oh yay, it’s handheld horror…..sigh. You cheap fucks, make a scary movie that doesn’t rely on this. Well, this has a cast of 2, […]
Here’s the summary from IMDB, so skip this paragraph at your leisure. “Barry is a talented mechanic and family man whose life is torn apart on the eve of a zombie apocalypse. His sister, Brooke, is kidnapped by a sinister team of gas-mask wearing soldiers & experimented on by a psychotic doctor. While Brooke plans […]
I have had this on my DVR for a month or so, let’s see what it is. Here is IMDB’s oh so brief summary: “Eight volunteers find themselves fighting for their lives when a drug trial goes horribly wrong.” You know what? That’s really all I needed to hear. I LOVE movies like this. I’m […]
I think I am going to take a step back on this one and not be so wordy. We shall see if I get better feedback with this method or not. Of course, I should have probably picked a more popular film. Oh well. We have newlyweds Paul and Bea and I believe they are […]
This has been on my radar for quite some time. What better time than now? By the way, thank you for helping me reach my goals here with getting hits. First off, let me just note that this has a sweet cast. It has the father and the oldest daughter from the film “The Woman” […]
I expect this to be absolute trash, but I know damn well that half of you who have Netflix and watch some horror and have wondered, how bad can this be? Time to find out. The opening with Bill Burr and John Mayer was quite funny in all honesty. How they came up with that […]
