9 Deuce
OK, now we can enjoy ourselves, at least until the sequels get really shitty. Alien is directed by Ridley Scott and has a hell of a cast. You have Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, and Yaphet Kotto (also in The Running Man!). I’ll be watching the Theatrical version because that’s what […]
Here’s the sequel directed by James Cameron, the man behind Terminator 1 & 2, The Abyss, True Lie, Titanic, and Avatar….well you can’t win them all. This cast rivals the original. We have Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Lance Henriksen, Bill Paxton, Paul Reiser (really?), and Mark Rolston. I personally like this cast better, but that […]
Hey, a movie from 9 Deuce! I have the lowest of low expectations because horror was not very good in the early 90’s by and large. It was mainly sequels….like this is. Now we find ourselves with a cast not so great….on the surface. Sigourney returns as Ripley. Lance Henriksen returns as Bishop 2. We […]
I needed a damn break from the Alien franchise. Something totally mindless and short. This is 82 minutes long, it’s on NetFlix. It’s only rated PG-13, but it does have Eric McCormack, star of Will and Grace. No, don’t leave yet. Stay, give him a chance. Oh shit, this is a WWE Studios film? How […]
Here we are, at the climactic end of the quadrilogy and it is directed by the great Jean-Pierre Jeunet!!! Wait, who? Fuck it. This brings Sigourney Weaver back, and adds Winona Ryder and Ron fucking Perlman! Alright, now I am excited. Hey, Brad Dourif too. We are on USM Arigua and there are 41 military […]
Finally, a movie with Arnold being a badass! His character’s name is Dutch. We also have Carl Weathers as Dillon, is that a popular black guy name back then, because Alien3 had a black Dillon. We also have the great Jesse Ventura as Blain. I am pumped, let’s have at it. We are in Central […]
I loved the original, let’s see how the sequel goes. I’ll give a quick actor and character list. Danny Glover as Lt Mike Harrigan, Gary Busey as Pete Keyes, the girl from the Running Man as Leona Cantrell, Bill Paxton as Jerry Lambert, Adam Baldwin as Garber, and Morton Downey Jr as Tony Pope. That […]
OK, the matchup that a handful of people requested, and here we have it. We have Lance Henriksen back as Bishop and our old pal Tommy Flanagan of Sons of Anarchy fame (Chibbs). That’s about it. October 10, 1904, is when we start, in Antartica. This isn’t The Thing. So this dude is getting stalked by […]
Well, this movie has a 4.7 rating. Way to start the day off. I see Johnny Lewis is in this. He played Half-Sack in Sons of Anarchy at least and wasn’t a great human being. Oh well. I’m tired, let’s do this. We start off where we left off with our dead predator on the […]
I think I saw this last year. I think I liked it. Let’s see how bad my memory is. We start off at this gala of sorts and a lady says that night’s honored guest is Prof. Solomon. So he gets a nice applause. He reads some poetry that is quite foul, lots of shit […]
