9 Deuce
Well, here we are at the remake, reboot, re-re something. Anyway, I hope it’s not terrible. A girl is wandering the woods and there is a figure running out there as well. She hides behind a tree, gets bagged over the head and knocked out with a blunt shot to the head from a gun. […]
I remember thinking that this looks like a cheesy horror flick from the commercials. I worry because this hit theaters and not many horror movies do, and those that do over the past 5 years or so, I would say at least 80% have been below average. On the other hand, you don’t know until […]
The commercials actually intrigued me. That’s usually my weakness is a decent, misleading trailer. Let’s see how disappointed I can be by the end of the night!! Oh god no, handheld cam. Please no more!!! October 29, 1993, this takes place. You peasants, you dare not do it in 1992? I am deducting a point […]
I remember this coming out a few months after Saw. Saw was a brilliant film, so I hear all of this hype, and it sounded like they would do more torture, it would be gorier, and I remember being legitimately pumped to see this film. Also, Tarantino’s name was attached to this. How could this […]
Oh, another Hostel made by Eli. Punch me in the throat now. This has a good cast with Heather Matarazzo, Jordan Ladd, Bijou Phillips, and Nicotero doing effects. We start off with Paxton passed out on the train and going to the hospital. He is getting asked about the place where all the shit went […]
I didn’t enjoy the first Hostel at all. They seemed to have more fun with part 2 in the second half, so I enjoyed that more than the original. I have only seen this one once, and I recall I thought it was cheesy but entertaining. We start off with a lady wearing a very […]
A horror movie starring James Woods and directed by David Cronenberg…..HELL YES. I love the few movies I have seen of David’s, so fingers crossed here. James Woods name is Max. Max just looked at 2 pics with topless women, not sure if it is the same chick, for right now, I think it is. […]
I saw this on some list or it may have been recommended to me. Does it really matter? Nope. This is about 2 families spending time together for Christmas. Note, I didn’t say the holidays. 2 of the parents are related, don’t know who, don’t care. I don’t know how old Casey is supposed to […]
This is the original, with Christopher Lee. I have never seen either this or the Nic Cage remake, so I wanted to do it properly. I am excited despite knowing a bit about it. I enjoy that this film has a 7.6 on IMDB and the Nic Cage has a 3.6. Can it be that […]
I just saw the original for the first time and absolutely loved it. I am preparing to be severely let down. I don’t know if I will be doing a traditional blog as much as making observations, and probably laughing. This has Ellen Burstyn (mom from Requiem For A Dream), Frances Conroy (American Horror Story), […]
