9 Deuce
I wanted to like the original, but I simply didn’t. Great idea, great actors, terrible execution. I still have high hopes. IF this lets me down, I will not be fooled 3 times. Unemployment is below 5%, crime is virtually gone, it seems like a good place to live. So I have a question, how […]
Let’s do the time warp again ladies and gentlemen, back to 1959. This is one of my favorite old movies. I saw this and the first time, I am not gonna lie, I jumped. So here’s the gist. A couple, Frederick (Vincent Price) and Annabelle, invite some people to their mansion, which is haunted, and […]
A modern-day horror classic that unfortunately flew entirely under the radar, and yet it’s just as good as Shaun of the Dead is many ways. Oh, I know, you all have a hard-on for Shaun, I do too. Who doesn’t love “Don’t Stop Me Now”? Let me make my argument. Nathan Fillion Elizabeth Banks Michael […]
Well, I really liked the original to this. I thoroughly enjoyed the remake. This got a 6.3 on IMDB. There’s just one troubling thing that makes me skeptical. This was made in 1994. This is widely considering the doldrums of the world of horror separating the peak of the 80’s and the late 90’s when […]
I am afraid this will be slow and plodding, but I insist upon giving it a chance. Hell, it took 3 minutes just to roll credits. That shit pisses me off. The best part is that I have heard Come on Feel the Noise twice now but it isn’t the original artist. Win some, lose […]
I have long told Raylene about the awfulness that is Necromantik and its sequel. So I showed Raylene part 2 today, well half of it. I’ll give you my quick thoughts. WARNING: This is a terrible, grotesque film that is not enjoyable. There is nothing fun or pleasant about this. Why you keep reading my […]
So this was the first movie I saw in the theater with Raylene. I also brought my buddy, Ron. I introduced Raylene as Hookerbot. I’m classy. You have to forget everything you know and have seen regarding the original 7.5 movies to appreciate this one. Nobody can replace Robert Englund, that’s a fact. But the […]
I have only seen this once before. I don’t think I liked it all that much then. I found it kinda overrated, but hey, I ordered the box set for $9, may as well get my money’s worth. This movie stars 60-year-old Gregory Peck and 41-year-old Lee Remick as Robert and Katherine Thorn. They are […]
I have always loved this movie. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine, and why shouldn’t it be? The song Hey Man Nice Shot was from this soundtrack. It has a fantastic cast and a good storyline that can get a little silly at times. That’s what Tales From The Crypt was all about though, ya […]
Hey, a ventriloquist movie. This is gonna bring me back to my Twilight Zone days. This is a movie from James Wan, the guy that directed Saw, The Conjuring, and both awful Insidious films. Hey, he at least gave us Saw. So we have a couple, Jamie and Lisa Ashen, and somebody shipped them a […]
