9 Deuce
Now we are in 1999 and horror is making a huge come back. This is borderline renaissance period for horror. This is a remake of the Vincent Price movie I just reviewed a few days ago. This one is similar, only much edgier and modernized. Fun fact, they made a sequel called Return to House […]
Well, I have seen 1 and 2 and the remake, so I may as well tackle this, am I right? No stars, but they brought Angela back, so that’s a plus. We start off with a sheriff who is checking out the house. Well, Angela is there. As you can guess, he dies. Less than […]
Yeah, this gets the coveted 9 Deuce spot. I think in 10 years, this one may have lasting appeal, more so than other films of similar nature. Why? Because it was done right, and Ethan “chicken” Hawke is awesome. Let’s sit back and soak it all in. We start off with like home movie footage […]
I have been a huge WWF/E fan since 1989. Not many of the films involving wrestlers have been good. As a matter of fact, aside from 12 Rounds, and possibly No Holds Barred, the WWE films have been awful. I did enjoy others, but they have been awful in the real sense. Then there was […]
I have never seen this, but Tom Pratt recommended it. It stars George C Scott, so that’s a plus. It looks like a family is on a winter vacation to upstate NY, I mean they actually said Upstate NY. Hey….that’s where I live!!! Their car is not working, so they push it on the side […]
I’ve only seen this movie once, and with my memory, well I don’t recall much about it. I am pretty sure I liked it though. It stars Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as David and Amy Fox. We also have Frank Whaley as Mason. Frank is famous for his role in Pulp Fiction as Brett, […]
I keep having this pop up on IMDB recommendations, so rather than watch movies I saw earlier in the year. It stars the dude who plays Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. (I have to say that I wrote this way back in 2014 and Game of Thrones was a popular show but […]
Seriously, this is my 4th time trying to write about this film. I get tired, distracted, pissed off, various things, so I never finish it. This one is for you Kristi. The cast is pretty solid. You have Dee Snider as Captain Howdy, Kevin Gage who was in Heat, Blow, and May, and the incomparable […]
I don’t know if I have ever seen this, but it’s short and that is a plus right now. I need to wrap up so many loose ends by midnight. So here we go with The Gate, starring Stephen Dorff. The synopsis sounds silly as fuck but got a 5.9 on IMDB, which is solid […]
Here we are with Rob Zombie’s sequel to his remake. I’ve only seen this film once, and somebody was on their phone during a good chunk of the film, so it disrupted my viewing. As you can imagine, the cast is amazing in this. Sheri Moon Zombie, Scout Taylor Compton, Brad Dourif, Malcolm McDowell, Tyler […]
