9 Deuce
Well, this movie has one and a half stars…..yikes. IMDB has it at 4.4, and an acquaintance of mine who likes really shitty horror like Insidious even found this stupid. Ugh…here comes the pain. We start off with 2 young girls playing with a Ouija board, and, one girl sees a shadow, and it was […]
1 year before the god awful movie titled Ouija came out, there is a low budget film that came out called The Ouija Experiment. I have already seen this. IMDB gives this a lower rating 3.6 vs 4.4 comparatively with Ouija. So is it worse? Is that possible? I have questions, and I will now […]
Just scanning through IMDB briefly, I saw mentions of this being lousy and references to Eden Lake and Them. OK, I’m sold! I’m getting comfy. I don’t anticipate writing much. Every time I say that I write 20 paragraphs, but you never know. Well, this opening music is kinda irritating. It’s just instrumental but annoying. […]
This sounds like it has potential, so I am cautiously optimistic. Here’s the IMDB summary. “A detective hunts down a killer using video footage shot by the victims of a massacre at an abandoned gas station.” This takes place in Kidwell, Nevada in July of 2012. We see an overhead shot, lots of smoke, looks […]
This film got a 1.7 on IMDB. Holy fuck, this is going to be tremendous, for all of the wrong reasons. Ugh, it’s an hour and 56 minutes of fuckery. Am I the only person that sees a shitty movie listed on Netflix and assume it’s around 90 minutes long? They all seem to be. […]
Here we go, trying a foreign film, brought to us from Hong Kong. This has been on numerous lists that I have read, and it has a 6.8 on IMDB. So let’s try it out. My typing may be limited due to the amount of reading. First off, I just want to say, Asian chicks […]
I have long wanted to do a series of blogs exploring Quentin Tarantino’s work. Aside from 4 Rooms, I own all of his big work on blu ray. Pulp Fiction may always be the most quotable, but which is my favorite? I will say this for Reservoir Dogs: this is the movie that got me […]
Before Saw, before Hostel, before The Human Centipede, and before “torture porn” was a stupid cliche that is overused to describe any film that has a hint of torture, there was Salo. Rest assured, this film is not for the weak or squeamish. You have been warned. I’m already shaking my head that I am […]
OK, now we can enjoy ourselves, at least until the sequels get really shitty. Alien is directed by Ridley Scott and has a hell of a cast. You have Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, and Yaphet Kotto (also in The Running Man!). I’ll be watching the Theatrical version because that’s what […]
Here’s the sequel directed by James Cameron, the man behind Terminator 1 & 2, The Abyss, True Lie, Titanic, and Avatar….well you can’t win them all. This cast rivals the original. We have Sigourney Weaver, Michael Biehn, Lance Henriksen, Bill Paxton, Paul Reiser (really?), and Mark Rolston. I personally like this cast better, but that […]
