Big Fish (2003)

This is everything that Forrest Gump was, only with a more fantasy element. This is one of the most underrated films in this millennium. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t like this movie at the very least. I am pumped to watch this, and probably tear up like a bitch at the end. […]

Welcome to the Dollhouse (1995)

I don’t remember this film much, but I remember really liking it. It also has a kick-ass song, titled “Welcome to the Dollhouse”. Start Film Ahhh, another mid 90’s film. We start off with Dawn Wiener (Heather Matarazzo) in a school cafeteria look for a place to sit. She finds a mean-looking bitch, Lolita, to […]

The Wedding Singer (1998)

It has been a long time, almost 20 years, since I last saw this movie. I loved it when it originally came out. I also was a big fan of Adam Sandler. Many of us were.

The Count of Monte Cristo (2002)

Early on, I admit that I wasn’t digging it. It was all important stuff, but it was dark. It reminded me of the beginning of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I’ll reference that film again later on. Initially, I preferred Fernand Mondego (Guy Pearce) to Edmond Dantes (Jim Caviezel). I don’t know if this was intended, but his character spoke to me, which probably speaks to how awful of a human being I am. Ah well.
