9 Deuce
Let’s go back to where we began, M Night Sham. Come to find out, most of his films are not considered horror. Fortunately, his third-best film is. SO there’s that going for it. But it is still M Night, so it is far, far, far from perfect. The Happening was perfect. I kid. So you […]
I’m going old school with one of my favorite classic films. It has Steve McQueen. Do I really need to say anymore? Some of you younger folks may not be familiar with just how awesome McQueen was, but he was really one of the all-time guys back then. He was a huge name. Let’s just […]
No catchy tune to start us off. But there is the lovely, and young Shawnee Smith of Saw fame. You know, she became Jigsaw’s apprentice, went through the worst scene in Saw history in part 2 being thrown into the pit of needles. And we have Kevin Dillon as well. Jeffrey DeMunn is in this, […]
I wanted to like the original, but I simply didn’t. Great idea, great actors, terrible execution. I still have high hopes. IF this lets me down, I will not be fooled 3 times. Unemployment is below 5%, crime is virtually gone, it seems like a good place to live. So I have a question, how […]
Let’s do the time warp again ladies and gentlemen, back to 1959. This is one of my favorite old movies. I saw this and the first time, I am not gonna lie, I jumped. So here’s the gist. A couple, Frederick (Vincent Price) and Annabelle, invite some people to their mansion, which is haunted, and […]
A modern-day horror classic that unfortunately flew entirely under the radar, and yet it’s just as good as Shaun of the Dead is many ways. Oh, I know, you all have a hard-on for Shaun, I do too. Who doesn’t love “Don’t Stop Me Now”? Let me make my argument. Nathan Fillion Elizabeth Banks Michael […]
Well, I really liked the original to this. I thoroughly enjoyed the remake. This got a 6.3 on IMDB. There’s just one troubling thing that makes me skeptical. This was made in 1994. This is widely considering the doldrums of the world of horror separating the peak of the 80’s and the late 90’s when […]
I am afraid this will be slow and plodding, but I insist upon giving it a chance. Hell, it took 3 minutes just to roll credits. That shit pisses me off. The best part is that I have heard Come on Feel the Noise twice now but it isn’t the original artist. Win some, lose […]
I have long told Raylene about the awfulness that is Necromantik and its sequel. So I showed Raylene part 2 today, well half of it. I’ll give you my quick thoughts. WARNING: This is a terrible, grotesque film that is not enjoyable. There is nothing fun or pleasant about this. Why you keep reading my […]
So this was the first movie I saw in the theater with Raylene. I also brought my buddy, Ron. I introduced Raylene as Hookerbot. I’m classy. You have to forget everything you know and have seen regarding the original 7.5 movies to appreciate this one. Nobody can replace Robert Englund, that’s a fact. But the […]
