9 Deuce
Not many horror movies can boast about going 4-5 stars deep, This can. It stars Bradley Cooper as our leading man Leon. We have Vinnie Jones as our antagonist. Then there’s the lovely Brooke Shields (Susan) and Leslie Bibb (Maya). And finally, there is MMA/UFC legend, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. We’re in good hands. I do […]
Before there were The Strangers, there was a French film doing it better, and its name was ILS. I loved this movie when I saw it for the first time. Maybe it was the fact that it was a different language, it added a different edge to it. I can’t explain it, but you if […]
I’ll be totally transparent, I just wanted to sit back, watch a horror movie without looking at this screen, without taking notes, just relax and view. Well, I regret that decision because of the vast amount of one-liners I didn’t note, or how many topless girls we got (I think it was 2), or to […]
Well, this one and the next one got a 3.2 at IMDB. I am prepared for the worse here. Here’s the thing, I know if I don’t tackle these now, they aren’t ever getting done. Let’s see what is happening so far. We have some people in Chernobyl. There are some dudes checking out this […]
Uh oh, this movie came out in 1993, one of the worst times in horror history. I expect nothing good to come from this. This starts off in a military complex. We have 3 colonels, and none of them is named Guile. Street Fighter 2 in case you didn’t know. Their names are Peck (old […]
Why not go right on to an awesome 80’s sequel? The first one was so grand, what could go wrong in the sequel? We start right off with a military guy driving more barrels of the bad stuff from part 1. Well there we go, a couple of barrels rolled off. The first piece of […]
Now we’re in business. I do remember seeing these films way back in the day. And the first few are a treat as far as I recall. Let’s have fun. We have these 2 guys working with skeletons and dead bodies, a middle-aged dude, and this new young guy. They are great. Older guy is […]
I’m sorry, I tried Return of the Living Dead 5, but 2 and a half minutes in, I realized it had continuity with part 4. I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t handle watching it. It made me so mad, so I moved on to something more palatable. So we have Dee Wallace in this […]
Hey, a French film while trying to teach Raylene a modicum of Francais. Fuck me. 10 minutes in and our main guy, Marc, is traveling on a road, it’s raining and his van breaks down. A dude happens by and he is looking for his dog. Well this guy, Boris offers to lead him to […]
You wanna know where my lust for extreme horror comes from? Like most male teens, I saw the Faces of Death movie, but most of that stuff was laughable, like the guy Bungie jumping out a window, but the cord was too long. It was hilarious. And I would go and see whatever I could […]
